February 14, 2012. Supplies and equipment are continually needed to be replaced in schools, and the financial support for these necessities isn’t always available. Since BCSS recently updated its computer systems, our IT support team at Business Information Systems (BIS), based in Robertsdale, upgraded two of the extra hard drives to top condition. We donated these hard drives, along with keyboards, mouse controllers and large flat computer screens to the computer lab at Silverhill Elementary. The students are sure to get plenty of use out of these machines, and BCSS and BIS are pleased to help in their technological education, which is more important now than ever before.
Principal Pam Moorer and Computer Teacher Lauren Street were presented the donations on Valentine’s Day, with a special visit from the Clean Water Drop Mascot who spread love to the children in class at the time.
