As Tropical Storm Ida approaches the Baldwin County gulf coast, BCSS recommends our customers in flood prone areas take the following precautions:
Before flood waters rise, turn off the power to your grinder pump.
Fill your tub and drain. This will fill up your grinder basin.
If your grinder is flooded, call BCSS at 971-3022 for an inspection and startup after the storm.
These areas include, but are not limited to, Fort Morgan, Bon Secour River, Fish River, Plash Island, Perdido Beach, Josephine, Elberta and Lillian.
